Memory Box Monday - Scripted Bird

Happy Monday!

Birds always look the most at home when they are perched on a branch, which is what inspired me to create a "home" theme on this card.  It's just a little one - 4.25 x 4.25 inches.  Both the Jenni Bowlin papers and the Memory Box card stock has been sanded for a distressed feel.

The bird has been covered with Sepia Accents (which is fabulous by the way) - be sure to use only permanent or water proof ink under and off the Accents products or you may find the ink will bleed.  If you have used a water based ink you can cover it first with a simple sealer such as quick drying clear nail polish.

The flower is just two punched Hydrangeas layered together and off set.

Supplies:
-Scripted Bird stamp (Memory Box)
-Vanilla Bead Duplex cardstock (Memory Box)
-Labels 11 Nestibilities dies (Spellbinders)
-Town Square Mini Papers (Jenni Bowlin)
-Precision File Set - sanding tool (Basic Grey)
-Coffee Archival Ink (Ranger)
-Kraft Tickets (Tim Holtz)
-Hydrangea Punch (Martha Stewart)
-Brown Ruffled Edge ribbon (May Arts)
-Offbeat Brads (Basic Grey)
-Vintage Photo Distress Stickles - on the branches (Ranger)

Thanks for visiting,
Lisa

  1. What a sweet card! Love the way the sepia accents gave a hint of colour. I have yet to pick one up! Have a great week!
