Lockhart Tuesday

I {heart} Lockhart Stamp Company.  I have tried to define the "Lockhart" style many times and have come up with the following words - whimsical, primitive, folk, charming, humorous and original.  Each Tuesday I hope to bring you an design from this inspiring collection of art.

Please forgive me, but I just couldn't help but pair up the image "In Hot Water" with the Homespun Jenni Bowlin paper.  The image was colored with Prisma Colored Pencils.

Suppiles:
-In Hot Water rubber stamp (Lockhart)
-Homespun Mini Papers (Jenni Bowlin)
-Classic Natural White card stock (Neenah)
-Big Scalloped Small Oval Nestibilites (Spellbinders)
-Scalloped Felt Ribbon Pack (Martha Stewart) - can't believe how well this coordinates with the papers!
-Vintage Sew-On Buttons, White (Jennie Bowlin)
-Mango Pearls (Kaiser)
-Glossy Accents (Ranger) - applied over the pot
-Cotton Ball White Flock (Stampendous) - applied to the neck of the chicken with the....
-Quickie Glue Pen (Sakura)
-Silver Spica Glitter Pen (Copic) - used on the handles and rim of the pot
-Precision File Kit (Basic Grey) - used to distress the edges of the card
-Ivory and Black Burlap String

Thanks for visiting,
Lisa
